Do yourself a favor: don't listen to any of the BS you see on TV re: HomeLight or IdealAgent or any of those 'services' who claim to 'find the top agent for selling your home'. Fact is: they pilfer or steal a 'referral fee' from any Agent who might wish to work with them & the only agent they 'suggest'...wait for it...are the Agents who have agreed to pay them that fee. You think any self-respecting Agent is going to payoff part of their commission to some 'site' who does not employ Real Estate agents, but are just 'pickpockets', and that Agent will work just as hard for less money? Second, they claim their 'top agent will get you more money' for your home & feature a commercial with a guy who says 'I've been on the market for over a year & was promised by two agents...'. Yeah? BS. Fact is folks...anyone on the market for a year, is overpriced. Overpriced for the location; overpriced for the condition; overpriced for the 'market'. But no one, in my forty years of experience, ever 'sat' on the market for a year, if they were priced right. 

Just like the 'Wizard of Oz': bunch of hooey behind a curtain. That's what any of these internet schemes is.
